りんけんバンドのアルバム「カラハーイ」収録の楽曲「浜ぬチクラ小」。
吉山隆之がYouTubeで奏でてみました。

沖縄で、「チクラ」とは魚のボラのこと。「小（ぐわ）」は「なになにちゃん」のような語尾につける愛称。

『ヒヤササ！』という定番の沖縄の合いの手も含め、海を彷徨う小魚を、意味のある言葉と意味のない言葉遊びが行き来する歌詞で表現した素敵な可愛い楽曲です。

意味性が強いと言えばパブリックエナミーやレイジアゲインストザマシーンの音楽、古くはジョンレノン「イマジン」などですが、韻を踏んだりの言葉遊びは常に内包した方が、人の心に伝わりやすので、言葉遊びって大切です。

子供の頃の遊びにも、そんな部分が沢山あったと思います。ぜひコロナ禍なこんな時こそ「言葉遊び」を思い出してみてください。

In Okinawa, "chikura" refers to a fish belly."Guwa" is a nickname given to the end of a word such as "~chan."

It's a lovely and cute song that expresses small fish wandering around the sea with lyrics that mix meaningful words and meaningless wordplay, including the standard Okinawan go-between, "Hiyasasa!"

Speaking of strong meaning, there are music from public enamy and Rage Against the Machine, and John Lennon's "Imagine" in the old days, but wordplay is important because it is always easy to convey to people's hearts when it comes to rhyming.

I think there were a lot of things like that in my childhood.Please remember "playing with words" at a time like this when Corona is in trouble.

2020年のクリスマスソングとして吉山が沖縄三線で奏でるにあたり選んだのはこの曲、ポールマッカートニー『ワンダフルクリスマスタイム』。ジョンレノンやスティービーワンダーや山下達郎、Wham!の選択肢の中、この曲の持つメランコリーな要素が僕を惹きつけました。三線で奏でる時にハーモニクス奏法を使ってジングルベルに混ぜ合わせました。さて2021年に希望が訪れますように、そんな準備として、この音楽が皆様のささやかな笑顔に繋がりますように願いを込めて。

This song, "Wonderful Christmas Time" was chosen by Yoshiyama when he played on the Okinawa sanshin as his Christmas song for 2020.Among the choices of John Lennon, Stevie Wonder, Tatsuro Yamashita, and Wham!, the melanic elements of this song attracted me.When playing on a sanshin, I mixed it with the jingle bell using harmonics.In preparation for the arrival of hope in 2021, I pray that this music will lead to your small smile.

ミッシーエリオットが13年ぶりにひっそりとYouTubeなどで聴ける新作Iconologyを出していたようだ。
彼女とティンバランドが紡ぎ出し細分化されたビートにはとても影響を受けた。
今なら三線や、沖縄のビートをどう細分化したりするとユニークだろうと考える。

ただビートの上に民謡を乗せるのではなく。もっと融合して解体したい。

Now, I think it would be unique to subdivide the sanshin and Okinawan beats.Instead of putting a folk song on top of the beat,I want to merge more and dismantle it.

右手人差し指で歴史を変えた世界一のギタリスト、EddieVanHalenが亡くなった。僕にとってナンバーワンギタリストのEddieのために、あえて沖縄の三線をギターアンプにつないで爆音でソロを奏でてみました。ドラム入りの『三線でエディの想い出/Remix』と、１発録りの『三線でエディの想い出/Naked Ver.』をお聴きいただければ彼への想いが伝わるはずです。
彼の功績は計り知れないけれど、ライトハンド奏法、高速なハミングバードピッキング、ハードなアームプレイ、数々のハーモニクスなどがあげられる。でも彼の演奏の本質は、彼のタイム感、リズム感が、ずば抜けているところだろう。裏のリズムから入る感覚はジャズ的で一筋縄ではいかないもの。最高でした。

カルチャークラブの「カラーバイナンバース」収録の「カーマは気まぐれ」。文字通りカラフルな時代をもっとも切り出した曲。この頃のボーイジョージの輝きは神がかっていて、僕の初の武道館コンサート体験は、このカルチャークラブの公演でした。

この曲をあえて沖縄三線で奏でました。

YouTubeを使って曲に肉付けしていく様子も即効的にできる時代が来ましたね。

I dared to play this song on the Okinawa sanshin.
